To any piano players (or ex-players) – this video is for you. A young-looking girl playing Flight of the Bumblebee. When I think of my extremely basic training in piano and how immensely crap I was, it makes me realise just how amazingly good this girl is. I think there must be something in the genes of Asians which makes them naturally able to beat anything anyone else does. They’ve got world-class musicians, are responsible for a healthy proportion of the electronics you use on a daily basis, there’s billions of them and to cap it off, they have even managed to excel at basketball in the US. Is there anything they can’t do? Well, apart from say the English letter ‘l’ or ‘r’ the right way when they need to. Small sacrifice, though…
