Burglars are not usually renowned for their lateral thinking abilities and superior intelligence, especially those who get caught in the act. This case makes all of them look like MENSA members when compared to it, though – a man who robbed the houses of his neighbours on the street he lived on. Yes, it’s a bit like urinating on your own front door isn’t it?

The idiot from Manchester (no surprises there) burgled 3 houses on his road, along with another house around the corner, over the course of 2 months. He stole the usual kind of thing: TVs, games consoles, jewellery and the like. It didn’t take overly long to track him down either, as he seemed to not know the first rule of wearing gloves when you break into someone’s house and left his fingerprints everywhere. That alone is dumb enough, but when you already have a long criminal record (and therefore your prints on file), it becomes an epic fail.

Trying to think about this, he couldn’t have messed up any more unless he tried to sell the dodgy stolen gear back to the people he stole it off in the first place…
