Imagine being on a motorway when all of a sudden the lorry in front of you falls over and out spills over 10 million bees. Well, that is exactly what happened in Canada. The bees were being transported after being used to pollenate some fruit crops, 12 million of the sods!

Rain helped to deal with the bees because as you may know they can’t do much in the rain. They were simply confined to being angry and and agitated in and around the lorry, giving bee keepers a chance to lure them back to their hives.

However, there isn’t too much hope of keeping them all alive without special expertise. One idiotic journalist just had to have that awesome shot and ended up getting stung quite a few times, although they are not that worse for wear for it. Makes you wonder what kind of prat goes and walks towards a seething mess of 12 million bees…
