Santiago, Chile, and over-60s are to be given free Viagra according to a local mayor. Apparently, he got the idea when working as a doctor and hearing older residents complaining about their poor sex lives and claims he has decided to launch this scheme to give them ‘a better quality of life’. I guess its one way to get re-elected, but he’d better hope that his beloved voters aren’t too ‘busy’ on election day to make their vote!

Men who want to take up the offer have to pass a medical, but after they pass they can collect their free fun-pills 4 times a month – a total of 1,500 men have shown interest so far and it could cost the local government £10,000 a year.

It just goes to show that the South Americans know how to make everything into a party, even old age!
