Is it me who is totally nuts or the benefit system???

Full time skilled male worked 40 years and according to Institue of Fiscal Studies paid equivalent of quarter of million into system. Unemployed and contribution based meagre JSA expired.

Wife works part time on low wages but if wife worked more hours and earned more making couple financially better off then couple could claim working tax credits. If wife earns less and is therefore an almost destitute household income - cannot get any financial help at all apart from a funeral grant - oh whoopie how useful!

In the meantime the chavs are decked in 'cash my gold' weighing them down and making them so weary they have to sit down in local hostelry for entire day to quench their thirst before the weary trek to McDonalds to order everything off menu before purchasing their designer clothing to look the part with their status symbol staffies and terrorists who want to blow the UK to pieces have their human rights to a thousand quid a week benefits upheld.

Meanwhile the ex grafter who has paid for these lavish lifestyles cannot afford heating lighting or food as his household is only entitled to a funeral grant!

Am I the totally insane one - I am beginning to think so!

I heard Toyota was recalling all it's customers.

Seems they called them before, but no one answered.

I appreciated your post, and I like your follow up as well. I do believe I have to post it on my fridge. The next time someone asks me how to spell something, or what this means, all I have to do is point. A further follow up to your arguement, looking up words teaches you how to spell words you might not know. A nice list would be ten great reasons that frequent use of a dictionary is an affordable luxury. Maybe more would make use of any of the resources you listed. Thanks for the list, it will come in handy for cram sessions just before a scrabble match.
