Not much can shock you these days, especially when it involves the US.  We routinely hear of teenagers who go on shooting sprees after borrowing their grandad’s AK-47, which was hanging over the mantle piece.  These warped teenagers are usually deluded by stories of death, destruction, and Marlyn Manson.  But one deranged American delinquent has shot his own father after he disabled their internet access because his son was spending too much time on Myspace.

Apparently he spent days on social networking site, much of which must have been spent waiting for the site to load.  Before the shooting the teenager had posted suicide threats on the site.  You would have thought this would have set alarm bells ringing but his mother apparently “wasn’t worried and promised to lock up any guns in the house.”  In the end the teen found his “father’s shotgun and ammunition lying on the counter” and shot him in the back of the head.  Tragic, but bewildering at the same time!
