Here’s a video which points out the subtle differences between traditional demolition methods, and those employed by obscure European demolition ‘experts’.

  1. When demolishing a building, be sure to wear no protection gear. Your sturdy skull will protect you from any falling material: even concrete will merely fall into dust the second it collides with your head.
  2. Be sure to use good, old-fashioned tools of the trade like small hammers – simply beat at the object in question until it falls to pieces under the force of your sustained force of will. If the object does not succumb to your bloody-mindedness, throw stuff at it. Any stuff will do. Try your shoe.
  3. Always ensure when cutting something down that you follow the lumberjack’s #1 rule: cut on the side you will be running to safety on.
  4. And finally, always make sure you deal with all supporting structures before you attempt none-load-bearing bits. These will ensure the job goes quickly and with minimum effort, so you can get home in time for the football match and a nice cold beer.

Now you know why cheap European labour is the way to go on your next construction (or deconstruction) project!
