Here’s a video which points out the subtle differences between traditional demolition methods, and those employed by obscure European demolition ‘experts’.
When demolishing a building, be sure to wear no protection gear. Your sturdy skull will protect you from any falling material: even concrete will merely fall into dust the second it collides with your head.
Be sure to use good, old-fashioned tools of the trade like small hammers – simply beat at the object in question until it falls to pieces under the force of your sustained force of will. If the object does not succumb to your bloody-mindedness, throw stuff at it. Any stuff will do. Try your shoe.
Always ensure when cutting something down that you follow the lumberjack’s #1 rule: cut on the side you will be running to safety on.
And finally, always make sure you deal with all supporting structures before you attempt none-load-bearing bits. These will ensure the job goes quickly and with minimum effort, so you can get home in time for the football match and a nice cold beer.
Now you know why cheap European labour is the way to go on your next construction (or deconstruction) project!
Someone once asked me what this site was about. I told them to shut up unless they had something useful to say. Do you want this person to be you? Didn't think so. Stop worrying and just enjoy.
