Some unfortunate lad has ended up with a broken jaw… from a fish. Yes, thats right, a fish. Don’t believe me? Read on.

The boy was being towed around by a boat on a lake in an inner tube when the Silver Asian carp leaped out of the water at him and hit him square in the face, giving him a nasty injury, knocking him out and giving him something to tell the grandchildren, at least.

The best bit about the story is a comment made by a Prof of Aquaculture at the local University of Arkansas – “Their jumping behavior is a problem, and their population appears to be growing there” – when the only reason they were there in the first place was because humans introduced them to serve their own ends. And how dare the fish jump when someone rides past with a boat! Animals get away with murder, they should be done for the crimes they commit and serve hard jail time!

Seriously, come on. Still, its all a bit funny really.
