Americans love their guns, they also love their cars. So what could be better than bundling them together for a promotion to sell more cars? A car dealership in the USA has started a promotion offering a free gun or a free gas card worth $250 – and guess which is proving the most popular!

Apparently they’ve shifted 4 times as many cars as they usually would have during the last 3 days, with only 2 people out of 30 opting for the free gas over the free gun: a Canadian and an ‘old guy’, and you get the hint that the owner of the dealership thought they were crazy.

According to the owner, he is doing it because of Barack Obama and his comments about mid-west Americans ‘clinging to their gun and bibles’. Whatever the reason, I wonder if he realises its basically selling a Drive-By In A Box.
