Yes it rhymes, no it wasn’t intended to. This story just takes the biscuit really, mainly on how stupid people are when it comes to their pets.

Basically, a cat got stuck up a tree. It was there for a couple of days, yowling for help (apparently) and so the owner (I presume) decided to get up there to rescue it. A next door neighbour had been told by firefighters to leave it another day and that after the 3rd day, if the cat was still stuck up there then they would come out, but does anyone ever listen to them? Noooo…

So, this woman is in the tree attempting to rescue the bloody cat, when the branch below the one she was on snapped, leaving her stranded. Cue the firefighters having to be called out early to rescue her – but here’s the kicker – afterwards, the cat came down itself. Yes, ITSELF.

Now, I hate to rant (thats a lie, I love it more than life itself) but come on. Its like those dog owners whose dog will dive into a river, owner dives in after it to ’save’ it, drowns, and dog paddles to safety after having a good swim. Animals have brains, remember, people do not it would seem.
