Wolf whistling is the passtime of men around the world (well, builders around the world). It annoys women, allows men to be chauvenistic without being directly offensive and is the signal of ‘you have a nice body’ from those men who find communication using speech a little bit too hard. Usually the woman ends up in a bad mood, but who cares about that, right?

Well, not in New Zealand. An Israeli tourist was walking around a small farm town when a group of typical builders started wolf whistling her. She took offence (as women do), but what happened next surprised even the builders.

To put an end to it and have the last laugh all in one go, she decided to strip off, completely. Yes, thats right, not a stitch covering her body. She then went to use the cash machine before putting her clothes back on (how dare she!) and walking off.

She was taken to a police station to be told ‘that aint what we do here, missy’ by the NZ coppers, before being let go to travel home.

Its definitely a holiday to remember for her, and no doubt those builders will be having very… graphic dreams!
