Yet another dumb criminal has ended up getting collared through his own stupidity, this time by crashing into the police station itself in his car.

Of course this happened in America (where else, huh?). He was driving a pickup truck when he decided what he really wanted to do was smash his way though the front gate barrier, into a garage before ending up embedded in a vehicle lift. Needless to say the police, once they had recovered from the immediate shock, arrested him on the spot. Oh, and did I mention he did all this at a state police headquarters?

He was wanted because he seems to have spent all day crashing into things, with numerous accidents earlier in the day in which his pickup was identified. He tried to explain all this stupidity by saying he was being chased, which the police claim is a load of old tosh. Maybe the existence of ‘drug paraphenalia’ (gotta love that word, sounds somehow sexual) upon his person will explain that though…
