Cats are known for their habit to dive into small, confined spaces, or indeed anywhere enclosed where they can hide/sleep/wait/skulk or all of the above. So it should come as no surprise that one cat in particular ended up taking a bit of an unexpected journey across its native Germany when it got stuck in a box.

First, it seems the cat snuck into the next-door neighbour’s house, who was packaging up a child car seat which she was selling. When she left the room, the cat decided to dive into the box while she was away. Obviously seeking whatever it is cats seek, it ended up getting shut inside and mailed to the person buying the seat, 500 miles away.

The cat only got discovered when the package reached its destination and the next door neighbour, who sent the package, notified the cat’s owner of its intrepid journey. Is there no-where cats won’t go? Except for into a bath, of course…
