Some people are hardcore, some have balls of steel. Yet more may be known as ‘Iron Men’, but this guy takes the biscuit. This guy fought a goddamn snake and ended up winning.

The huge 13 foot python decided that our star of the show would make a delightful amuse-bouche and so attacked him, expecting to make short work of him no doubt. However, not all went to plan. When the epic reptile coiled around him and dragged him into a tree, you could forgive both the snake and the guy for thinking it was all over. He was going to die. Painfully.

However, the man had a clever idea. Over the course of a 3 hour struggle (this man is a machine, I swear) he managed to get his shirt over the snout of the python, clamping its jaws shut. Along with that, he bit the snakes tail for good measure.

Eventually the snake let its grip subside for a moment, which he took as a chance to grab his mobile phone and call for help. Eventually a bunch of police, villagers and his boss showed up to rescue him. After realising they couldn’t shoot the snake without risking his life, they decided the next best approach was to simply drag the entwined man and python out of the tree, which they did. Apparently it sounded like a loud ‘thud’. Technical operation, that.

Still, this goes to show that you can beat a snake at its own game. The only worrying thing was the snake later escaped unharmed, so now the man has to worry not only about snakes and other beasties, but about one with a grudge too.
