A man has excavated a Lamborghini in Wisconsin, USA. The car was located underneath his house, and required a heavy duty excavator (you know, for excavation purposes) to gain access to it. Apparently these beasts roamed free millions of years ago, before they were caught up in a great extinction – some say this is why, besides Fiat, the only car makers worth mentioning are all owned by Germans.

In all seriousness though, the car was actually in his basement. It got there after he watched a film and thought ‘You know what, I’m gonna make a Lambo’. It took him 17 years, and in all that time the plonker didn’t think once about how the hell he was going to get the bloody thing out of the room which had no access, let alone a door big enough to fit a supercar through.

In the end he had to resort to this drastic measure of digging a ramp into his garden, smashing through a wall which was also a kind of foundation (safety first, kids) and hoping like hell that he didn’t end up crushing his work of the better part of two decades under the rest of his house.

Luckily for him, he got it out, and is now able to show it off to his friends. Whether or not it actually works well enough is unknown – maybe it looks all show but can only get up to 60mph if you’re going downhill… Only time will tell.

But in future, if you’re planning on constructing a car in your basement (as you do), just THINK first, because even if you’re smart enough to build the thing in the first place like this guy, you can still be enough of an idiot to do it somewhere you won’t be able to remove it from.
