A man in Brazil has pushed his luck waaaaaaay too far, theres no doubt about it. After 7 years of getting tickets he knew nothing about (more on that later), he has ended up with an almight $1.9 million in traffic fines.

He got them by mostly driving like an idiot (well, duh) – speeding, running red lights, you know the type. But what is even worse is that in all this time, the reason he didn’t get any clue as to his towering record is that he had not even bothered to register the car – claiming he was ‘too busy’. Well I dunno what this guy does for a living, but unless he’s the only brain surgeon within a 500 mile radius, I think that is a load of balls.

One thing does prove that if there is a God though, that he has a cruel sense of humour: the thing that ultimately got the guy tagged by the police was not a piece of reckless driving, it was a routine stop-and-check on documents that they happened to catch him in. What brilliance, pure and simple!

Oh, and his car, worth less than $10,000, has ended up being impounded. That is, until he fronts up the money for the fines. Which do you think is more likely: him locating that much dough or conceding to lose a nigh-on-worthless (in comparison) car?
