Going to work, you can’t get out of it, but that does nt stop thousands of people trying every day.  There are the traditional excuses such as being ill, the dog dying (again), or the kitchen flooding.  Someone in the US has taken this to an unbelievable extreme, in that to avoid going to work, they asked their friend to shoot them in the shoulder.

Granted, the man in question Daniel Kuch from Pasco, Washington was scheduled to face a drug test at work, which he must have been fearing he would fail.  Moreover using a spurious and orthodox excuse akin to those mentioned above would have raised suspicions with his employer one would think.  However getting your mate to shoot you with a live weapon is a completely disproportionate response, prooving once again that the most stupid people on the planet all live in North America.
