Animal welfare officers took two German Shepherd dogs into their care after allegations that a man has been using them for his own thrills. They claim that he has repeatedly sexually abused them, and are trying to get a court to give them custody of the dogs in order to protect them from further advances.

The man lives with his mother in Florida (yes, another messed up American), and it looks like he personally will escape any form of punishment for what he’s done.

You see, beastiality is not illegal in Florida. Yes, you heard right. Apparently they’ve tried to push through legislation to outlaw it, but progress has been slow. Maybe its because it is a bit of an off-putting topic for prime time news, or maybe its because Florida is full of animal-loving weirdos who want to protect their right to give their dog one.
