Burger King isn’t exactly the kind of place you’d expect to see the world’s most expensive burger, but right now that is exactly where it is (in the Gloucester Road London branch if you must know).

They are trying to beat the world record set in 1994 for the most expensive burger, and for now it looks like they’ll do just that.

But onto the burger itself: it has Wagyu beef (that is the really expensive stuff where they massage the cows and give them beer or sake), topped with white truffles and presented in a Iranian saffron and truffle bun. All sounds very… expensive.

So, if you feel like splashing out on a burger, and also happen to be clinically insane, why not pop over to Burger King where they will really make both your tastebuds and your wallet explode.
