You’ve seen Top Gear. You’ve seen the Pagani Zonda. You’ve wanted one (if you haven’t, then you’re dead inside). Well, have you ever thought about insuring one of those beauties?

Well I would listen to this very important story – the story of a man who crashed his Zonda S worth more than half a million quid. The car was being taken on a test drive near Aberdeen (glamourous) when the driver lost control and ended up damaging the rear of the car pretty heavily. This driver then reported it to the insurance company, who decided that rather than write the machine off entirely, they would pay for it to go back to Modena, Italy to get repaired – at a cost of an almighty £300,000.

Yeah, three hundred thousand pounds.

I guess that is what you get when you crash a car they only make 10 of in any given year!
