It would perhaps be unfair to assume that someone who decides to rob a bank may not be the most intelligent of persons. However, taking such a huge risk, endangering your own and possibly other peoples lives, coupled with the threat of prolonged incarceration is not usually the activity of the well educated. They tend to stick to ripping off investment banks rather than actually taking the liberty of visiting a branch to plunder the money.
However once you had successfully stolen funds from a bank, you would think that you would lay low for a few months, especially with regard to the scene of the crime. But it seems for one hapless rogue in the US, the temptation to go back for more was just too great. Now with a population of over 300 million people, based over fifty states, we can safely assume there are thousands of banks in America to choose from. So why oh why would someone be so dimwitted as to try and steal for the same bank twice in the same month?
Having just been held up, you would imagine that the bank staff were highly alert and would have made security improvements. Moreover they may have decreased the amount of money they hold at the bank for fear of further attacks, but not from the same half wit who did them over before? I think this berk should be given an extra long sentence for sheer and utter stupidity!
