A woman won her own funeral the other day at a minor league baseball game in the USA. The sponsors of the game were a local funeral directors and a memorial garden, so it seemed like the perfect choice as prize for a competition they ran during the game.

The woman isn’t dead yet of course (it would have made it hard for her to win it in the first place I guess) and the companies giving the prize away haven’t put a limit on when she must claim it by, which is probably just as well.

Recently she suffered a neck injury, sporting a (tiny bit ironic?) neck brace at the time, with the woman claiming that “I almost croaked many times”. Guess she might be needing it sooner rather than later…
