Officials in the Vietnamese city of Hanoi have been mystified as to who own a Boeing 727 jet airliner after it was left at the airport months ago. It arrived from Siem Reap in Cambodia back in November 2007, and since then has been left on the tarmac unclaimed.

The plane has markings of Air Dream, which there are no records for at all, and it is believed to belong to Royal Khmer, a troubled Cambodian airline.

They reckon that the reason it was probably left is that whoever owns it does not or cannot pay the aircraft parking fees at the airport, so they’ve just decided to leave it there, as you do…

If it isn’t claimed soon it is going to be scrapped by the Vietnamese authorities, so if you want a plane you know where to go.

You might need a few quid to fill it up though, I hear kerosene is pretty expensive nowadays!
